What it does
HEIC to JPG turns one iPhone HEIC/HEIF still into a standard JPEG at the same width and height. It applies EXIF orientation so the file matches what you see in Photos, flattens any rare alpha onto white (JPEG has no transparency), and ignores Live Photo video companions. Use it when a CMS, marketplace or social uploader rejects HEIC.

Frequently asked questions
What is HEIC/HEIF?
HEIC is Apple’s usual container for photos that use the HEIF image format. iPhones often save camera shots as .heic because the format packs more detail into a smaller file than JPEG. Many websites, CMS uploads and marketplace tools still expect JPEG or PNG, so a HEIC original may be rejected until you convert it. This tool reads the primary still and writes a standard JPEG.
Why do iPhone photos need converting for the web or Amazon?
Browsers and seller portals often accept JPEG, PNG or WebP but not HEIC. A product photo or blog image taken on an iPhone may fail an upload check or fail to display for visitors. Converting to JPG keeps the same pixel size and produces a file almost every CMS, Amazon listing flow and social uploader already understands.
Will dimensions change?
No. The converter keeps the primary image’s width and height exactly — no crop and no upscale. A 4032 by 3024 still becomes a 4032 by 3024 JPEG. If you later need a smaller file for a size budget, use Compress to KB or Image Compressor on the JPG.
Is orientation preserved?
Yes. The tool applies the EXIF Orientation tag the same way your phone gallery does, then writes upright pixels into the JPEG. The result panel reports whether orientation was applied. After conversion you can open the JPG in any viewer without depending on EXIF rotation support.
What about Live Photos?
A Live Photo HEIC may contain a still plus a short video companion. This converter uses the primary still only and ignores the motion video, depth maps and gain maps. The download is a single JPG of that still. Editing Live Photo motion is out of scope for this page.
Can I convert HEIC to WebP on this page?
Not in this version — output is JPEG only. Convert HEIC to JPG here, then open the JPG in WebP Converter if you need WebP for the web. That two-step path keeps this page focused and reuses the same quality defaults the rest of Beita Image already ships.
What is the file size limit?
Uploads are capped at 10 MB, the same limit as WebP Converter and Image Compressor. Typical iPhone HEIC stills fit under that cap. If a file is larger, compress or resize it on the device first, then upload again. Corrupt or unsupported HEIF brands are rejected with a plain error instead of spinning forever.
